Denali D7 Pro functies, aansluitingen en montage

From its single-circuit wiring capability, which provides traditional control of the light pod, to its dual-circuit functionality, which allows each pod to operate as two separate lights, the D7 Pro offers unparalleled flexibility. With Plug-&-Play compatibility with DialDim™ & CANsmart™ Controllers, users gain full control over each circuit, ensuring optimal customization and ease of use.

1.1 - Choosing the Mounting Location

DENALI offers dozens of universal and vehicle-specific light mounts. To determine the best mounting location, consider the following tips. For maximum beam distance at night, mount the lights higher. For maximum daytime visibility, mount the lights low to increase your overall lighting area. To create the optimal lighting and visibility package, mount one pair of long-range flood lights high for night distance and one pair of flood or hybrid lights low for daytime visibility and fill at night. View our full mounting application chart at DENALIELECTRONICS.COM to see all mounting options for your vehicle.

1.2 - Mounting the Light

Step One: Use a 13mm wrench and the included M8 bolt, washer and nut to attach the pods to the mounting screw.
Step Two: Use the M8 plastic nut cap to cover the nut and exposed threads.
Note: The light pod should be mounted in a vertical orientation to correctly display the ribbed center fog beam, but can also be hung upside down. The rim can be rotated when hanging the pod in an upside down position, this will always keep the logos legible upright. Use a 3mm ball head Allen wrench to remove the 4 Allen screws on the back of the bezel, then reinstall the bezel rotated 180°. After it is installed, snap the X-Lens™ back on with the logo upright.

2.1 - Bundling options

This LED light pod includes an installed spot lens and 3 different snap-on X-Lenses™ in Clear, Amber and Selective Yellow. Use the spot lens for maximum distance only. Using the spot and X-lens™ beams together creates a hybrid that adds some extra fill at close range while maintaining distance. Use the X-lens™ on the central optics alone to create a flood beam. The amber and selective yellow color of the lenses increases visibility in fog and rain by reducing the amount of blue and white light that reflects off water vapor and reduces visibility.

2.2 - Installing the X-Lens™

Step One: Attach one side of the X-lens™ by hooking the inside edge of the arm over the bulge on the side of the edge.
Step Two: Rotate the other arm over the center of the light and snap in place.

3.1 - Wiring for one circuit

The DENALI D7-PRO can be connected for single circuit operation like any other traditional DENALI Light Pod. Included with each D7-Pod is a 2-to-1(e) Wiring Adapter that allows all LEDs to operate together using one of the standard single circuit DENALI harnesses. Attaching the X-Lens™ allows the light to switch from a spot beam to a hybrid by adding diffusion to the center row.

4.1 - Double-circuit wiring.

The DENALI D7-Pro has multi-circuit functionality built into the pod where each pod can function as two separate lights. The outer spot optic acts as light one and the inner flood optic acts as light two. The D7-PRO is Plug-&-Play compatible with both DialDim™ & CANsmart™ Controllers, allowing full control of each circuit. Manage each connection on the back of the pod as its own circuit and individual light when connected to a controller. Refer to your DialDim™ or CANsmart™ instructions for specific wiring information.
