With the first deliveries of the new Chigee AIO6 for BMW, we have noticed, through our customers, a technical concern with the included loose Chigee BMW Cradle adapter. When this cube is screwed on tightly, the connection between the AIO6 and the cradle does not appear to be optimal. As a result, functions such as the wonder wheel and vehicle data are not read out.
A temporary solution is to mount the adapter block loosely, which in many cases restores functionality. Unfortunately, this can lead to rattling while driving, which is obviously not desirable.
We have since reported these findings back to the manufacturer as important user feedback. As soon as a structural solution is available, we will of course inform you immediately.
