Denali Gen2 Cansmart for the BMW R1300GS

Leverage the flexibility and intelligence of your BMW R 1300 GS's CAN-bus electrical system to dramatically simplify accessory installation with the new and improved DENALI CANsmart™ Controller GEN II.

The DENALI CANsmart™ Controller for the BMW R 1300 GS offers plug-and-play installation and integrated control of up to four accessories to enable dozens of customizable settings that can be controlled directly from the BMW "WonderWheel" or the CANsmart™ Accessory Manager Software.

CANsmart's four circuits are pre-programmed to connect and independently control two sets of DENALI 2.0 lights, a SoundBomb horn and our B6 auxiliary brake light.

Unlike the Gen I CANsmart, each of Gen II's four circuits can supply a full 10 amps of continuous current and each circuit can be configured to run any type of accessory. The maximum power consumption for the entire unit remains at 30 amps continuously.

Gen II also features two new settings for auxiliary lights. You can now modulate your auxiliary lights for added visibility, and set your left and right side lights independently to cancel when you activate the corresponding turn signal.

Features:

• High/Low Sync - Set extra lights to switch between a programmable high/low setting using the factory high-light switch.
• ON/OFF and Dim - Control two sets of lights independently ON/OFF and change intensity (both day and night) directly from your original vehicle switches.
• Modulating Lights - Set additional lights to modulate to increase your visibility to other road users.
• Flashes for Passing - Need to get someone's attention? Pulse your high beam switch three times and your auxiliary lights will flash rapidly three times.
• Cancel With Turn Signal - This feature cancels the corresponding extra light when you turn on your turn signal to prevent powerful extra lights from overpowering your signal.
• Reverse Blink With Warning Lights - This feature makes your extra lights blink inversely with your warning lights, increasing visibility at roadside breakdowns.
• Plug & Play Horn Installation - Quickly and easily connect powerful aftermarket horns like our SoundBomb™ without adding an additional harness or relay.
• Strobe with Horn - With this feature selected, the CANsmart™ software will automatically flash your auxiliary lights when you sound your horn. This feature works whether you have the factory horn or the SoundBomb™ horn installed.
• Deceleration Activated "Smart Brake" Technology - The CANsmart™ reads vehicle speed in real time to activate your auxiliary brake light during deceleration before you even touch the brake pedal. You can adjust the sensitivity and minimum speed at which the Smart Brake feature is activated.
• Flash Pattern Braking - The CANsmart™ offers four different flash patterns that make our super-bright extra brake lights even more noticeable to motorists behind you. You can set extra brake lights to flash only when braking hard, flash continuously while your brake is depressed or flash four times quickly and then stay steady (legal flash pattern in California).
• Circuit Function Selector - The Circuit Function Selector in the CANsmart software lets you run any accessory on one of four circuits. Click on a circuit icon to open the drop-down menu and make your selection from the list of available circuit functions.
• Switched Power Source - The CANsmart™ provides a universal "accessory" option that easily gives you clean switched 12V power. That means that whatever accessory you connect to this circuit will turn on and off with your ignition.
• Delay Time Out - You can also set the accessories on this circuit to have a delayed time out. This will keep them powered for up to 30 seconds after turning off your motorcycle.
• On Board Power - The "accessory" circuit option is ideal for powering your GPS, phone, heated clothing or any other electronic device.
