Construction & Protection.
- Ultra-durable construction: Made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon for maximum strength and protection.
- Advanced vibration isolation: "Free-float" system with high-quality silicone dampers that absorb high frequencies and engine vibrations.
Smart Power Management.
- Designed for direct 12V connection.
- Built-in voltage stabilization.
- Protection against voltage spikes, reverse polarity and overheating.
- Automatic sleep mode prevents vehicle battery discharge.
- Auto-reset fuse integrated.
Safety logic
- Connector pins are energized only when Caretta is inserted in the cradle.
- Prevents short circuit in case of rain, water or metal objects when cradle is empty.
Quick & robust connection
- Quick-release blade connectors: on and off within seconds.
- Extremely robust connection, suitable for any terrain.
- No external M8 connectors required (as with CI Pads).
Hardwired integration
- Controllers: Direct connection for external controllers and accessories.
- OBD: Direct OBD connection via Carpe Iter adapter cables (no Bluetooth dongle required).
- BMW: Plug-and-play compatible with BMW models with Navigator connection via Carpe Iter BMW adapter cable (other models under development).
