What is the Carpe Iter Next-gen HUD? Thanks for asking!
In the current generation of the Carpe Iter Controller app, the HUD (Heads Up Display) is a shortcut interface to additional features, such as touch lock, media controls and the like.
However, the Carpe Iter Next-gen HUD is going to seriously expand the feature set and functions of the HUD and act as the headquarters for everything you need on the bike.
Motorcycle electronic dashboard. In the first phase, it will be rolled out for BMW GS motorcycles in conjunction with BMW Control. In the next phase, we will implement support for other motorcycles via a Bluetooth OBD dongle.
- Mini home screen with shortcuts to your favorite apps.
- Odometer.
- Maps.
- Standard track recording.
- "Life log" feature (track recording always on, but optimized for power consumption and size of recorded files. Intentionally, it won't be as accurate as recording a track to use later for your rides, but it will give a good enough idea of where and when you've been to track back your riding adventures).
- Importing and exporting GPX tracks.
- Media Control.
- Quick access to the most frequently used settings.
- Electronic rally roadbook.
And of course, all accessible from your handlebars via our controllers.
